Agwadeyësta’ Dögë:h

Nya:wëh Sge:no

Agwadeyësta’ Dögëh is a community-based non-profit, dedicated to the preservation, revitalization, and daily use of the Seneca language.

Through collaborative programming, educational resources, and intergenerational learning, we work to support both new and fluent speakers.

Our efforts include supporting and providing classroom instruction, language documentation, community events, and outreach. We want to reconnect individuals and families with our language.

"When Elders speak to others in our language, we can see and hear their happiness. When the youth speak our language, it generates a sense of joy and makes all of us happy. If using our language brings more happiness to the community, then let’s all do more of that."
